Hi Resident
We know there has been concern in the community about a serious incident that occurred in Sunny Hill Park on the evening of Monday 15 September. A 17 year old boy has been charged in relation to this incident and was remanded in custody. We aren't looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
We know this kind of incident can be really shake the local community. You will see/ have seen an increased police presence in and around the park. Please do come and speak to us about any of your concerns. We will also be running pop-up events with partners, providing information and support around issues of women's safety and giving you an opportunity to speak to us directly. The next event will be tomorrow (Friday 19 September) from 3pm - 6pm at Sunny Hill Park. Tomorrow we will be joined by the Barnet team so please come along and talk to us.
